 In this post we see a Canada 10 Cents Special Delivery Stamp SC E7.  It is Used.   Canadian Special Delivery postage when put together with standard postage was used to speed up delivery of mail. They had a long run being issued 1898 until 1946.  In the center of the stamp appears to have an image of the the Coat of Arms of Canada  with it's country and service above. This stamp is available as part of the follow stamp lot for sale that includes back of book .

In this post we'll be discussing a 1945 France SC# 559 Liberation 4 Francs Block of 6 Mint Not Hinged stamps.  The theme of these stamps celebrates the Liberation of Alsace and Lorraine during World War Two.  As far as who was in charge freeing Alsace from Germany we had on the allied side the Americans (under Generals Devers, Patch and O'Daniel)  and French forces under Général de Lattre.  They engaged the Germans who had 22,000 troops (under General Rasp) with success ultimately but not without challenges like water way barriers. This block of collectible stamps is available as part of this lot .

In this post with have a 1937 France Sc #324 Paris Exposition Stamp 1.50 Francs.  It is Mint Hinged Original Gum and it available as post of this French Stamp Collection .  The theme of this stamp is the International Exposition of Art and Technology in Modern Life that took place in Paris France in 1937. It had pavilions from various countries like Britain, Finland, Spain etc. to name a few.  This stamp appears to feature an effigy of Marianne , a crowned Coat of Arms as well as RF in the center for Republic Francaise.

In this post we see a Scott 267 Year 1895 US 3 Stamp Strip 2 Cent Stamps Unused Mint original gum. "Bureau Engraving & Printing" can be seen as well as the plate number of 341.  It is type III and doesn't have lines  through the triangle border and is part of the First Bureau Series . Two of the 3 are not hinged and 1 is light hinged. This stamp has 12 perforations and has a USPS double line watermark. We don't have one like this currently for sale but check back later. Here we'll look at a used 1852 Netherlands 10 C Sc #2 imperforate stamp.  It's color is carmine and it has a watermark of a horn.  This Dutch ten cents stamp features Willem III who was the King of the Netherlands for 40+ years and whose reign ended with his death in 1890. He was from the House of Orange-Nassau and also held the title of Grand Duke of Luxembourg.  

This post will look at a 1979 $1 Duck Stamp issued by the Long Island Wetlands and Waterfowl League Inc.  It features 3 golden eye ducks in flight with the denomination below in the bottom right.  This stamp was designed by Diane Pierce.  

The following is a 1880s  St Vincent 6 Pence Stamp featuring Queen Victoria SC#51.  It is unused hinged , does not have gum and has 14 perforations.   St Vincent is an island country in the Caribbean that was formerly under British control continuously between 1783 until independence in 1979.  Victoria was queen of the United Kingdom from 1837 until her passing in 1901.

 This post is about a 1927 Switzerland Hevetia Pro Juventute Stamp 30 Centimes, it is used.  This semi postal stamp commemorates a Swiss charitable foundation that benefits the young people of Switzerland.  Since the year 1913 Swiss Post has been issuing stamps in support of this organization.
