 Here we'll take a look at a Mexico 1968 25 Pesos silver coin.   On the obverse or front side seen in the picture above we see an native dancing with the Olympic rings below.  This 72 percent silver coin celebrates the Summer Olympics which were held in Mexico City in October of 1968.  A Latin American country had not previously hosted the games.  Bob Beamon set a record long jumping 8.9 meters or 29.2 feet and George Forman win gold in boxing and not long after goes pro. The reverse side has the Mexican Coat of Arms with the eagle biting the snake.  This coin is available for purchase here .

This post is about a Canadian silver dollar coin from 1966.  Please judge the grade for yourself by looking at the pictures.  This was the 2nd to last year that the Royal Canadian Mint made these with silver for normal circulation. Obverse side Reverse Side This coin is 80 percent silver and has a actual silver weight of .60 of an ounce. Not for sale currently but that may change if we decide otherwise.
